Detailed Itinerary
Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel.
Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m)
After breakfast, scenic drive to Pokhara (200 km / 6–7 hours) or optional flight (30 minutes). Transfer to hotel near Phewa Lake. Free time to explore the lakeside area.
Pokhara to Kande, Trek to Forest Camp (2,550m)
Drive from Pokhara to Kande (1,770m) by Jeep. Begin trekking through beautiful rhododendron and oak forests to Forest Camp. Gradual ascent with first glimpses of the mountains.
Forest Camp to High Camp (4,500m)
Trek through dense forests transitioning to alpine meadows. Trek above the tree line through alpine terrain with dramatic mountain views. Reach High Camp (4,500m) for sunset views. Close-up panorama of Mardi Himal, Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South, and the entire Annapurna range.
High Camp to Mardi Himal Base Camp for Sunrise, back to High Camp then descend to Low Camp
Wake early and trek to Mardi Himal Base Camp for magnificent sunrise over the Himalayas. After that, back to High Camp then descend to Low Camp
Descend to Siding village, Drive to Pokhara
Descend to Siding village (1,750m). Drive back to Pokhara. Evening free to relax by the lake.
Pokhara to Kathmandu, Final Departure
Drive or fly back to Kathmandu. Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your international departure. End of the trek.
